Our physicians bring different backgrounds, experience, and clinical interests to Anuvi, while sharing the same commitment to thoughtful, accessible, and dependable care.

Patients accepted into the family practice will have their primary family physician who gets to know them over time. When another Anuvi physician is involved, the team can work together to keep care connected.

Dr. Brenden Kunimoto

MD, MBA, CCFP, ACBOM, CMLE

Born and raised in Alberta, Dr. Kunimoto trained at the University of Alberta's medical school, completed residency in Grande Prairie, and holds an MBA from the Alberta School of Business. Alongside full-scope family practice, he provides emergency department and hospitalist care, as well as marine medical examinations, Botox for migraines, nerve blocks, and some cosmetic procedures.

Outside the clinic he likes to spend his free time eating dark chocolate, sushi, and playing a good board game.

Dr. Omid Pour-Ahmadi

MD, CCFP, MPH, ACBOM, CIME

A Calgary family physician providing comprehensive primary care to individuals and families, Dr. Pour-Ahmadi received the Recognition of Excellence from the Alberta College of Family Physicians in 2025. His special interests are chronic pain, preventive care, and how injury and illness shape everyday life. He also teaches as a Clinical Lecturer at the University of Calgary's Cumming School of Medicine.

Sees patients in English, Spanish, and Farsi.
