Joining the new-patient list is the first step for patients who are new to our physicians. Joining does not guarantee acceptance into the family practice.
Previous or current patients of Dr. Kunimoto or Dr. Pour-Ahmadi do not need to join the list; the clinic will contact you. If your contact information has changed, please send us a message.
Our values
We see the person behind every medical concern. We listen carefully, seek understanding, respond with empathy and provide care that reflects each patient's individual needs and circumstances.
We work to make timely, inclusive primary care available to everyone in our community. We reserve same-day slots for walk-in concerns.
We value every patient and colleague, honour cultural differences, and act with integrity.
We provide competent, evidence-based care and make decisions based on evidence, sound judgment and the needs of our patients. We focus on identifying health concerns early and making sure important results, referrals and next steps are followed.
Pricing
Here is what to expect when it comes to coverage and fees.
Your appointments and medically necessary care. With a valid Alberta Health or Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) card, medically necessary services are covered. Bring the card and photo ID.
Annual physicals, illness and injury, chronic-condition management, referrals, prescriptions, and preventive visits.
Alberta Health does not cover paperwork requested by a third party. Things like driver's medical forms, school and employer forms, attending physician statements, sick notes, and other insurance or legal documentation carry a set fee.
Please enquire about specific fees before requesting your physician to complete the paperwork.
